Welcome to the official newsletter for all things Language Arts and Mr. Goldhammer. The purpose of this newsletter is simple: to allow parents and guardians a way to stay informed about their student's Language Arts experience and to promote involvement in his/her education. This newsletter is updated regularly and should be a great way to finally get an answer to that dreaded "what'd you learn at school today" question students so cleverly try to avoid. As "Hey Parents!" is a bit of an experiment, be sure to pass on any comments or suggestions that you may have. Enjoy.

Just thought I'd remind everyone that conferences are coming this Friday and early next week. It should be a great opportunity to sit down for a chat, go over a few things, and check out your student's current standing and progress. Here's the official schedule/info from the district:PARENT INFORMATION:
The following schedule provides an opportunity for parents to meet with teachers and to review first quarter progress of their student. Additionally, parents will be given instructions for accessing on-line teacher grading for those instructors using this system. Teachers will be available in the Mount Si High School Commons and Library areas.
Parents will have the following dates and times to visit with teachers according to the last name of your student.
FRIDAY, November 21 LAST NAMES: V - Z 11:45 AM - 2:45 PM
MONDAY, November 24 LAST NAMES: H - N 11:45 AM - 2:45 PM
TUESDAY, November 25 LAST NAMES: A- G 11:45 AM - 2:45 PM
TUESDAY, November 25 LAST NAMES: O - U 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Parents may show up at any time according to last names at the above noted conferences.
Please Note: If you are unable to attend the assigned section above, you may attend an alternate session. However, we are hoping to keep these changes to a minimum.
