Welcome to The Daily Post! As the name suggests, this portion of the website is updated daily (right after school) and is designed for you to be able to access what was covered in class, from home. It's a great resource for last minute updates or if you are ever absent or find yourself confused about any specifics about homework, reading, due dates, vocab, etc.
Just consider it one more thing I do to make your life a bit easier...

Update...Round II
One more thing, a lot of folks have been wondering about grades (since the quarter grades are due this weekend). Here's the deal: I'm behind...as most of you know, I've been a bit busy. So, here's my promise. All grades will be 100% up-to-date by the time I get back next week...that means your quarter grade might change a bit throughout the week. No worries, though...just remember, that for me, quarter grades are nothing more than a progress report--all that really matters is where you are at when the end of the semester rolls around. If questions come up (from you, from parents), just send 'em my way.

Make sure you are actually using this time and getting some work done.
-There will be a new weekly plan ready for you when you arrive on Monday that will explain all due dates + what needs to happen each day in class. Look for it online this weekend...or, in class on Mon.

LA 10 Honors
-Due: Completed web (pre-write) and thesis statements are due. The sub came around and marked you off for having these completed and ready to go.
-In class, divide up into groups of 3-4 and together, went through each other’s webs. Talked about them as a group. Took the whole period to really help each other map out a plan for making each essay effective and thoughtful. If someone’s argument is weak, make it strong.

-Work on your essay…a fully shaped essay will be due on Friday 3/17
Creative Writing
-Due: Interview questions…about 20+ questions ready to go.
-The sub read off the list of partners. No swapping.
