Welcome to The Daily Post! As the name suggests, this portion of the website is updated daily (right after school) and is designed for you to be able to access what was covered in class, from home. It's a great resource for last minute updates or if you are ever absent or find yourself confused about any specifics about homework, reading, due dates, vocab, etc.
Just consider it one more thing I do to make your life a bit easier...

- Need to have a minimum of 2 body paragraphs fully chunked and shaped. That means this handout, followed by this handout (or simply typed) for Monday. That's 2 body paragraphs, 2 steps for each. Feel free to jump into your 3rd body paragraph if you want to get a head start.

-Used a Ven Diagram to really start thinking about how the different arguments of these essays fit together
-Began webbing/outlining in class

-Sonnet work is due. Went over these in class.
-Also looked at Sonnet #130
-Began transitioning into our notes on Caesar. Began with assassinations...worked our way into Caesar's life. We will finish this up tomorrow or on Monday

-Watched the two different endings to the two different films...discussed the reasoning behind each director's approach to the conclusion of the narrative.
-Assigned the official prompt for the Animal Farm essay...brainstormed possible approaches as a class

-Finished up our notes on Shakespeare, took a look at The Globe, and some words and phrases Shakespeare invented.
-Began working on an Elizabethan English handout using this glossary of terms (3rd period...you have to do this all tonight).

-Continued the essay scoring and discussions from yesterday. Went over a few as a class, a few in small groups.
